Peter and the Wolf/ Spotlight on Dance Children's Performance

Presented by Pas de Vie Ballet at The Fallon Theatre

IMPORTANT: Due to storm damage, performances have moved to the Fallon Theatre on the FSU Campus. Date and times remain the same. A tradition 35 years old, the annual Spotlight on Dance displays Pas De Vie Ballet's stunning diversity and effortless talent. Working with pieces that range from classical staples to contemporary originals, artistic director Natalia Botha and ballet master Charles Hagan have created breath-taking choreography to be performed by their dancers.

Reflections and Reckoning: Brown v. Board of Education at 70.

The Brown v. Board of Education decision, issued unanimously by the Supreme Court of the United States on May 17, 1954, was a watershed in American jurisprudence. We take a look back at the circumstances that compelled the five groups of plaintiffs in the case and the impact that the decision had on our community and throughout the South, then and today. Works include paintings, photographs, and photojournalism. Featured artists are Debra Ambush, Ted Ellis, Tavani Williams, and Melvin McCray.
